Our Brief
Jan first approached us in October 2022. She was getting ready to retire from her career and thinking about the future of where she would like to live. One of her children had recently moved to Perth and she was considering moving there also but knew there was plenty of work needed to be done to her home before then.
Like many downsizers, Jan was unsure where to start or how she could maximise her sale price. Getting the highest possible price would mean she could live a comfortable life in retirement and buy a beautiful new home for herself.
We conducted a thorough property inspection and provided Jan with a list of all the improvements we felt would add real value to the outcome. In a falling market, it is important to ensure your home stands out amongst the competition. Properties that are ‘move in ready’ are also more likely to attract a premium than those who are tired or in need of renovation.
