After decades inside the real estate industry, I saw firsthand how easily sellers can be misled—and how much it can cost them.
That’s why Sydney Vendor Advocates exists.
How It All Began
I started my real estate career in 1992, first in property management and then in sales. Like many people entering the industry, I genuinely wanted to help people and do the right thing.
But the longer I worked inside the industry, the more uncomfortable I became. I saw agents overpromise on price to win listings, use pressure tactics, and make decisions that often served their own interests rather than the seller’s.
Although I became a top-performing sales agent and won industry awards, something never felt quite right. Too many sellers were making major financial decisions without the honest guidance and protection they deserved.
So I made a decision. If I was going to stay in the industry, it had to be on different terms — working exclusively for sellers, with complete transparency and without conflict.
That’s why I founded Sydney Vendor Advocates in 2013 — to give home sellers the independent advice, strategic guidance, and support I believed the industry was missing.
My mission is simple: to give home sellers the honest, independent guidance they need to make confident decisions and achieve the best possible outcome.
