Over time, I became a top-performing sales agent and even won awards for my results. But the truth is, my conscience finally got the better of me, and I made a promise to myself: if I ever returned to the industry, it would be on my own terms—with complete transparency and a focus on truly protecting home sellers.

So, in 2013, I launched Sydney Vendor Advocates (formerly Innovative Property Advocates) to change the way home sellers experience the selling process. My mission is simple: to empower sellers with knowledge, protect them from costly mistakes, and ensure they get the best possible result when selling their home.

Why I Became a Vendor Advocate

I started my career in real estate in 1992 as a Property Manager before moving into sales. Back then, I was eager to help people, but I continually saw a side of the industry that didn’t sit well with me. Agents were doing whatever it took to win business—overquoting, misleading sellers, and using tactics that weren’t always in their clients’ best interests. Honesty and integrity weren’t exactly rewarded in that environment.
